Image-to-PDF settings for clean printing

Combining photographed receipts, worksheets or documents into a PDF is often easier to share than a folder of separate images. The result, however, depends on source quality and page layout.

The essentials

Start with sharp photos and straighten them before conversion. A4 pages work for many ordinary documents, but a very tall image may appear small when fitted within the printable margins.

Practical steps

SatrPDF accepts JPG, PNG and WebP, placing each selected image on its own A4 page. PNG tends to preserve crisp graphics and transparency, while JPEG often produces smaller files for photos.

What to double-check

Embedding a photo in a PDF does not automatically make printed text searchable. That requires a dedicated OCR process rather than a standard image-to-PDF conversion.
